++General++

Locking solenoids actuate the locking mechanisms for elevator doors. KUHSE supplies a wide variety of models. Both side mounting on the roof mounting are possible.

Coil designs rated for 100% and 60% duty cycle produce holding forces of 35–60 N. Locking solenoids are

manufactured for connection to 110 V AC or 230 V AC, but can also be designed for all standard DC voltages.

Switching Frequency

The locking solenoids are tested at 240 cycles per hour,

with sufficient reserves remaining for higher switching fre-quencies.

++Design++

The locking solenoids of the V 8 (GL) series are

designed for 100% duty cycle using an energy-saving

circuit. The economy circuit becomes active after the

armature plate is attracted and connects a series resistor in series with the coil.

The hard-chromed armature moves within a

precision-machined and lapped cylinder made of stainless steel. The device is designed without joints.

The solenoid contains an adjustable

air damping mechanism.
